In 2015 DC comics gave Cliff Chiang the job of creating a new variant cover for Batgirl #40 and he came up with this. A Homage to Prince, recreating the Purple Rain movie poster using Batgirl, a purple bike and even a Prince style logo on the front of the bike. Now, if like me you are a massive Prince fan then you’ve got to love this. This rare variant comic book in a CGC graded 9.8 is increasing by around 60% per annum right now which makes it a great investment comic book.
