Investor Comics Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 12866662. Anyone that uses this website is bound by the following Terms and Conditions and we recommend that they read them thoroughly. By using this website, the Customer is acknowledging their consent to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Investor Comics Ltd reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice.
Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the relevant United Kingdom Law. The Courts of the United Kingdom will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or other matter arising from these Terms and Conditions, the Customer’s use of this website or the supply of any products by Investor Comics Ltd.
The Contract
When a Customer places an order to purchase a product from this website the order is considered to be a formal offer to purchase the mentioned product. Upon receipt of the Customer’s order, Investor Comics Ltd will send the Customer an order confirmation email including the price for delivery which should be checked immediately. If any order details are deemed to be incorrect this should be advised by the Customer immediately.
Once payment has been made by the Customer via PayPal, Credit/Debit card for the purchase of any product, this will form the contract between the Customer and Investor Comics Ltd and all terms will be deemed to have been accepted.
Pricing
All prices on this website are in £ sterling. Investor Comics Ltd reserves the right to change the prices for any product, at any time and without notice. Investor Comics will be under no obligation to fulfil any order for any other price other than the one advertised at the point that the Customer completes full payment for their order.
The ownership of any goods purchased remains with Investor Comics Ltd and does not pass to the Customer until such time that Investor Comics Ltd has received payment in full.
Availability
All comics sold directly through our website will be from stock and the item shown for sale on our website will be the actual item that the customer will receive.
Some items will be for sale on multiple sites. If an item that is purchased has already been sold then the Customer will be made aware of this and no further payment will be taken from their account. Any payment already made for an item that is out of stock will be refunded in full.
Investor Comics Ltd will not be responsible for compensating the Customer for any other losses or inconvenience connected with the sale of an already out of stock product.
Delivery and Shipping
All product prices advertised on our website will be exclusive of delivery and shipping charges unless otherwise stated. Shipping rates are calculated by size and weight of the item(s) being shipped and delivery location.
Investor Comics Ltd will not be held liable in any way to the Customer in the event that delivery is hindered or prevented due to circumstances beyond our control.
The Customer should be aware that when goods are shipped internationally they could be subject to opening and inspection by Customs authorities. Investor Comics Ltd will not be held responsible for any damage due to Customs Inspections.
Our view on damage to CGC capsules/slabs/cases.
Sometimes during manufacturing or the grading process, the plastic cases in which the comic books are held will suffer some damage. Normally small scuffs and often in places where it does not affect the overall view of the comic book, for example, at the edges of the case or at the top where the grading details are situated.
Our view on this is that we are selling the comic book and it’s that which has been graded and is being offered for sale. The case is just the packaging that the comic is provided in. That said, we understand that when buyers are purchasing something at the higher end of the grading market such as a 9.8 or if there is any obvious damage to the case that we believe to detract from the overall appeal of the comic book, then we will mention this as a separate note within the items details. Please read the details of our items thoroughly before buying.
Any significant damage to cases that we receive from CGC will be sent back to them for re-encapsulating so this should not be expected with any of our items.
Right to Cancel
Customers will have 14 days to cancel an order from the date they receive the goods. Proof of purchase will be required in all cases and the goods must be complete, undamaged, unopened and in original packaging.
In the event that the Customer has unsealed or damaged the packaging the Customer’s right to cancel will no longer apply.
If a cancelled order has not yet been dispatched, Investor Comics Ltd will cancel the Customer’s order and any payments already made will be refunded accordingly.
The Customer must return the item to Investor Comics Ltd within 14 days of receipt to qualify for a refund. In these cases the cost and any insurance for returning the goods will be the responsibility of the customer.
We will offer a full refund for any product that a customer has bought from us if it does not match the description or if it is not part of their order. All of our products are insured whilst in transit so any damage or loss sustained during shipping/delivery will be addressed and customers will be refunded if required.
Intellectual Property
All content of this website including all photos and images is the property of Investor Comics Ltd and is protected by intellectual property and copyright laws. The Customer may access any part of this website and download or copy material for personal use only. The Customer may not download or copy material for use in conjunction with any other website or business.
Data Protection
Personal details provided by the Customer to Investor Comics Ltd through this website will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The Customer should read our Privacy Policy before using our website. By providing personal details to Investor Comics Ltd, the Customer is consenting to the use of those details in accordance with the Privacy Policy as laid out on this site.
General Information
The Customer must be over 18 years of age to buy product from this website.
Investor Comics Ltd reserves the right to correct any errors or make any changes to this website, including descriptions and images. Investor Comics Ltd reserve the right to refuse or cancel any website order based on an incorrect description or image. These corrections may be made after the Customer’s order has been acknowledged.
Investor Comics Ltd reserves the right to decline to supply any individual or company without explanation.
Investor Comics Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Customer’s use of this website at any time without explanation.
If any single provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid by a Court of Law, the invalidity of that single provision will not affect the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions which will continue to have full effect.
The failure of Investor Comics Ltd to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.
